An ultra‑light, privacy‑respecting IP + connection intelligence tool. Zero marketing trackers. Immediate: your IP, ASN, connection classification, protocol & TLS info. Learn more: What is my IP address?
Do you log my IP?
We don’t store your IP for profiling, ads, or resale. Minimal transient edge logs may exist briefly for abuse / rate defense; we discard or aggregate quickly. See our Privacy Policy.
Why can my IP change?
Most consumer ISPs issue dynamic IPv4 via DHCP with finite lease times. Rebooting your router, MAC changes, or ISP maintenance can trigger a new lease. Deeper read: Static vs Dynamic IP Addresses.
How do I hide my IP?
Use a reputable paid VPN, a privacy relay (Apple Private Relay), Tor (higher latency), or a mobile network fallback. Avoid unknown “free” VPNs. Start with: How to hide your IP safely & Are free VPNs safe?.
Is IPv6 better than IPv4?
They coexist. IPv6 solves address exhaustion and enables cleaner end‑to‑end connectivity; performance parity or slight gains in many regions. Details: IPv4 vs IPv6.
Why does location sometimes look “wrong”?
IP geolocation relies on commercial datasets that can lag behind ISP reassignments or be skewed by VPN / carrier‑grade NAT exit points. See: IP Geolocation Accuracy.
What’s a “connection type” label?
We classify based on ASN / org heuristics (data center, residential, mobile, enterprise). Imperfect. Report misclassifications via the link under your IP. Background: Connection Types.
How can I secure my home network?
